I also had a chance to take Jose to a couple of my favorite cheesesteak spots in the city, pictured below is Geno’s in south Philly. Cheesesteaks and hoagies definitely became “staples” during this project, and that’s probably not a good thing. I spent a lot of time living in this city and I enjoy the rich history and culture that makes Philly great. Also below is a picture of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, better known for Sylvester Stallone’s run up these steps in the 1975 movie “Rocky”. Lastly, we took in Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. The tour is an awesome experience and the National Park Service guides are informative and entertaining. See ya from the next city…………………

Early in 2008, we did a project in Philadelphia that encompassed two existing terminals and a new building that will connect them. This gave me the opportunity over a weekend to take in some of the many sights of this unique city. I went downtown to 3rd and South and stopped at Jon’s Bar and Grille, whose claim to fame is that Larry Fine of The Three Stooges was born there in 1902. The renovated home is now a nice place to stop and have lunch or a “cool beverage”.
