In April 2010, I descended on the Big Apple (aka New York City) for a scanning project at the United Nations Building for Skanska. The UN building is currently undergoing a major renovation and we are glad that Skanska has chosen Scanworks to give them a hand with the scanning processes they need.

Going to NY gave me a chance to walk around the city a bit and check out some of the typical tourist attractions that draw tens of thousands from around the world here every year. I took a stroll to Times Square Saturday morning, the weather was pretty nasty, however, I was able to take a few pictures and enjoyed seeing the biggest and most technologically advanced advertisements the world has to offer.
On Sunday, I took a vertical trip to the top of the Empire State Building. The weather was cool and crisp and was perfect for long distance breathtaking views. So far, so good, and the pizza is phenomenal.
