ScanWorks adds new Leica HDS6100 laser scanner to their arsenal

Last month, ScanWorks bought a new Leica HDS6100 laser scanner to use on all upcoming projects. This new equipment cuts on-site scan time dramatically and enables a higher quality resolution. The first project using the scanner was the recently-completed project at SFO-San Francisco International Airport. Everyone at ScanWorks is very excited regarding the capabilities of the HDS6100 and look forward to integrating it into our future projects. MCO-Orlando International Airport work in progress
This month, ScanWorks is staying close to home with a 92,000+ square-foot project at MCO-Orlando International Airport. Our scan will be part of a reoccurring Obstruction Analysis service we are providing to our client throughout each phase of the installation.
United Nations project approaching completion
ScanWorks recently had the privilege of scanning a portion of the historic United Nations building in NYC. The on-site scan is complete and the 3D modeling effort is in the final checking phase. New project coordinator in training
As a response to our increased workload, ScanWorks is training a new project coordinator-Brad Buzard. Brad has been with ScanWorks for two years performing CAD work in our office. He will be trained by Lance Olsen on some of our upcoming projects.
