Once a scan is completed it is nothing more than a pretty picture. The next step is to orient the scan to an existing survey control system or a set of values that are common to the project drawings. This allows for a direct comparison between new design drawings and the existing conditions. ScanWorks has a full complement of conventional surveying tools and over 20 years of experience. Our field crews will leave survey monumentation on-site that will have values assigned that relate to project survey data and GIS, if available. This translates into a deliverable to the client that can translate information from the field to the drawings and vice versa.
